Develop and expand your knowledge of music performance skills. Learn how to read music scores, as well as sight read. This course helps to extend your ability to recognise music styles, rhythms and keys, developing a solid music theory foundation to support your music skills. Calling all young artists, express your creativity and bring your artistic vision to life. Learn to observe and sketch the urban environment using the humble pen, develop your skills in capturing cityscapes and everyday scenes using no-undo ink.

This course is suitable for youths aged 16 to 18 to learn and review their fundamental art skills for preparing a portfolio for an interview. Participants will learn to expand and develop ideas using dry and wet mediums and refine charcoal, pen and marker rendering techniques with the chosen themes, composition techniques and art styles. Participants will also learn watercolour and acrylic painting techniques to create drawings and paintings.

It’s never too early to start. Join us to learn the techniques and explore the wide range of sketching and drawing skills. Explore various applications of shading and mark-making using coloured pencils and other complementary dry drawing media.

Introduce to new activities and explore different painting project. Join our acrylic painting class and discover the versatility of this richly coloured medium. Learn how artists communicate their ideas through acrylic painting, colour, texture, shape and gestural mark-making.

Explore the world of visual communication through a series of engaging and fun drawing and sketching exercises. This includes developing a series of works on Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Learn the basic skills in modelling, lighting and animation specifically for environment and characters. Using MAYA software, you will be introduced to polygon modelling and texturing to create rigging systems (controls) to animate a short film. Learn the basic skills in creating backgrounds, simple characters and animation. Using Krita software, you will create a series of animation exercises incorporating basic animation principles to produce a short animated sequence.
