Course details
Fashion evolves, but the principles of pattern-making and cutting generally remain essentially unchanged. Join us and learn the craft of making a paper plan or template for a garment. This course helps to strengthen your foundation in self-drafted patterns from individual measurements that can be applied to varying fashion styles.
The course does not involve sewing.

Pattern Making & Sewing Techniques of Top, Skirt, Pants, Dress and Jacket
From basic sewing techniques to accurate pattern making and construction skills, this course will show you how to make a top, skirt, pants, dress and women’s jacket from start to finish. Learn to draft and adapt your patterns to create different styles of high quality tops, skirts, pants, dresses and jackets that look professional. Fashion Illustration I & II
Do you have a love for fashion? Would you like to create your very own fashion line? Learn basic fashion illustration techniques using a variety of media such as markers, colour pencils, ink and pastels. The prerequisite for Level II is the completion of the previous level or prior experience. Applicants who wish to join Level II and have prior experience in fashion illustration are required to submit art works for the trainer’s review.
