Expand your creative drawing skills with an intriguing dry art medium. Charcoal has unique characteristics that will help you discover your creativity through bold strokes, intricate marks and blending.

About the trainer
Sharina Azlan
Sharina Azlan graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, with Distinction and a Diploma in Visual Arts (Painting), with High Distinction from LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts. She has been an adjunct lecturer with LASALLE’s McNally School of Fine Arts since 2008 and a Short Courses trainer since 2015.
Sharina also taught customised art programmes in primary, secondary schools and tertiary institutions. Prior to this, she has commissioned art projects, collaborated on murals and participated in various group exhibitions.
She believes that art and art-making is for everyone to learn and enjoy. She deeply feels that art is the most effective way to communicate across language and cultural barriers and encourages everyone to experiment with different art mediums.
